Our Club Vision
Our primary purpose is to provide young people the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of basketball in a fun and safe environment, where respect for all will be at the forefront of everything we do.
We will aspire for excellence in all facets of basketball and to be a first-choice club for player, coach and umpire development within the City of Swan.
We strongly believe that involving young people in sporting activities on a regular basis will provide them with life skills and friendships that will last a lifetime.
Our aim is to help build up our local community, creating a sense of belonging and developing life long friendships.
Our Core Values
At Swan City Snipers we have three core values that is our driving force and symbolise the identity of our club. These values guide us in everything we do and are the foundation of the club.
Excellence
We are continuously aiming for individual and collective success, be that through teaching basketball to a child that has never played a game, to winning championships together as a team.
Our goal is to teach children to be the best they can be, to never give up and always give a 100% of their own ability.
We pledge to continually look for new ways to grow and improve as individuals and as a club.
Common Bond
Our club is open to everyone within the local community, we are committed to catering for the needs of all without bias or preference.
Through basketball we want to cultivate friendships that will last a lifetime, enriching the lives of all our members.
United through our friendships and our love for the sport we will build a strong and respected club that will be a strong presence not only within the basketball community but also within our community.
Passion
We’ve built our club on our love and our passion for basketball, we want to share that love and that passion with all in our community.
It is our aim to create a culture of positive sportmanship, a love of basketball, respect for all and a fun environment.
Our ongoing mission is to enrich the lives of the families which reside within our community through giving everyone access to our club and the wonderful sport which we play.
